No longer are kids playing video games like Centipede or Atari (ok I’m showing my age) but they are finding tons of games in the world of the app! If you are new to the computer world, an app is slang for “application” or computer program. There are millions of apps out there! Some are free, and others cost money. And kids these days are really quick to figure out how to play these apps or games. But use caution, some of these apps are not for younger kids. In fact, some of these games shouldn’t be played by any kids.
And now to the world of the Sports App. Again there are many, many apps out there for the sports fan. From football to hockey to golf — you can find these games at the swipe of your finger.

My kids love playing games on their tablet. We do have a few rules when it comes to apps. Only my husband and I are allowed to download a new game. That way we can monitor what games they are playing. And don’t forget to set rules for the amount of time they are allowed to play. They are still kids and playing outside or being creative inside is still better than playing a computer game!
