Best Place to Find Deals on Lessons or Classes!

yogaclassesAfter the first of the year I started looking into Yoga classes.  I especially had my eye on a specific class near my home.  This Yoga studio actually had a special going on so the thought of signing up was a lot more attractive.  But I still wasn’t sure.  Then a week ago, a saw a special on Groupon that gave me 70% off the regular price.  Wow!!! That was all the incentive I needed.  And with Groupon, you can have someone buy it for you as a gift — so you can double your deal!  It was a no brainer…. I start next week!

After this experience I will always look on Groupon first before I make a purchase on classes or lessons.   In fact, I just typed in the name of the Yoga studio and the deal popped up.  What I love about Groupon is that it’s very local.  You just type in your city or the city closest to you and you can find all the deals.  Here’s an example of a few deals I found today on Groupon:

Chicago, IL – $19 for a yearlong Chicagoland Pass of All Passes for one (a $79.95 value) Waterpark Admission, Chicago Wolves Games, Bowling, and More

Dallas, TX$59 for a four-week boot camp class with Jay’s Boot Camp Fitness – with up to 20 classes for one (a $195 value)

New York City$15 for a Boxing Class at 5 p.m. at Church Street Boxing Gym

San Francisco, CA$35 for one 45-minute Private Golf Lesson (Up to 56% Off) at Bay Area Custom Golf – Novato

These are just a few examples of the deals Groupon has.  Check your city for local deals.

There are other local sites that will also help you find deals in your own hometown.  Try Living Social for local deals and where you can save up to 60% off tickets to your favorite sporting events.  And for local and national deals.  For example:

Atlanta, GA$37 gets you a $75 certificate to Stone Mountain Golf Club.

Phoenix, AZ$145 gets you four sessions of personal training and a month of unlimited virtual training, ($290 value)

As you can see there are unlimited resources on deals for any type of lessons or classes.   If you have a specific place you want to go, you should always see what specials they are offering first.  Then go to one of these websites to find out if they are also offering a special.  And you can sign up on these sites and they will send all local deals to your email box.  I learned my lesson on my Yoga class.  I will always shop around before I sign up.  You should never pay full price for something like this.
